Tropical Storm Fay Coming This Way

Tropical Storm Fay is making its way towards us. After not having any storms effect us last year it appears as though this year we may see at least one storm. As of this writing there is another storm in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean that the computer models have coming towards south Florida.

The last storm we dealt with was the category 3 monster Hurricane Wilma. We came through that storm pretty much unfazed. The last category 1 storm that I remember that hit us was hurricane Dennis. My brother happened to be down when that one came through. When Hurricane Dennis came through it felt very much like a snow day up north. We just sat inside and looked out the windows all day as we tried to amuse ourselves with tv and and other things. The only real difference is that after the storm is over you really do not have to deal with the after effects of slush and cold, instead you get humidity and big puddles.

This will be the first major storm Emma has experienced and she will not remember it at all. Hopefully all we receive is tropical storm winds and lots of rain. We actually could use the rain. I will try and post pictures and perhaps some video of the storm rolling through tomorrow.

Hurricane Wilma

Jedbeck.com Headquarters fared well during the onslaught Hurricane Wilma brought on the Naples area. We were only with out power and cable until late Monday night. However, we are some of the lucky ones. It is rumored that if a location is still without power it may not be restored until around November 22nd.

Dennis the Menace

Looks like we are in the path of another hurricane. Last year we had Ivan the Terrible and now it seems that we have Dennis the Menace. Could it be a coincidence that my brother Dennis from Ohio is here visiting at this time. I THINK NOT!!!

I do not think we are going to get a direct hit from this borderline Category 5 hurricane. I think that all we are going to get is heavy rain and stronger than normal winds from this monster. I just hope that for wherever Dennis finally makes landfall that it loses most of it strength.

I guess we will find out in the next few hours exactly what travel destination Dennis has on his mind.

Until then take care.

Ivan took the smart path and decided he did not want to mess with the extreme power and ferocity of Jedbeck.com. It seems as though he is deciding to go pick on the little guys on the panhandle of Florida. What a jerk.

Coming Right For Us!!!

It seems as though Hurricane Ivan is indeed going to totally crash our party and potentially kick our ass for allowing is ex girlfriend Frances to hang out with us for so long. Man I hate the jealous boyfriend type. It seems Ivan actually thought we liked having that drunk bitch crash our party and destroy our property just because she could not handle her own alcohol.

I wonder if we should use the South Park Duck and Cover method to protect ourselves from Ivan? Just a thought…

Hurricane Frances was the storm that would not quit over the Labor Day weekend. Just when you finally get a long weekend to sit back relax maybe finally make it to the beach for the first time in over a month, a Hurricane decides it wants to crash your party and keep you inside all weekend. However, compared to a lot of people in the state of Florida, we were extremely lucky.

For the most part all we got out of this Hurricane was a lot of rain and some stronger wind gusts. Nothing too much. The worst part is that it just killed the entire weekend, but we escaped with all of property and most importantly ourselves intact. Our sanity was the only thing effected, and most people would argue that it was gone way before the hurricane came ashore.

Well for you viewing pleasure I have included a few pictures from Sunday during the storm. Don’t worry, it seems I may have a chance to get you more pictures next week when Ivan the terrible comes to visit because he is jealous that Frances his ex-lover had all the fun of throwing herself all over the state of Florida. What a whore!
