3D Ultrasound

For a while we have wanted to get a 3D ultrasound picture of Emma. We know a few people that have had this done. They all said it was absolutely amazing the level of detail that you can make out on the face of the baby weeks before you will meet them for the first time.
We were afraid of being charged for a bunch of ultrasound appointments without getting a picture, so last week we decided to try one last time to get a great look at Emma in 3D. In our previous attempts the umbilical cord was in front of her face. The Ultrasound Technician said that if there is anything in front of her face it will be mapped as part of the face and create a distorted view of the baby. Well on our last attempt Emma decided to cooperate and at least give us a profile picture of her face.
We have found that when people view these pictures, it is a lot like those 3D pictures that you always saw in the mall. People stare at it for a few seconds looking puzzled and then something suddenly click and they see the image they are looking for. So I decided I should probably include a hint to help you make out the pictures better. The 3 pictures below are of the left side of Emma’s face. You will see her left cheek, her nose, her closed eyes, and it appears that she has both hands in front of her mouth.

Congrats!
